About the farm

This is where our non-gmo,organic, hydroponic, eco-friendly, sustainable farm will be located.

We will be purchasing undeveloped rural land in the north central Tennessee area.  This is where we will develop an organic, non-gmo micro farm producing greens, herbs, and sprouts. Find out more about the farm by subscribing.

What we will grow

About the farm

This is a picture of an organic, hydroponic greenhouse.

We will be utilizing technologies such as solar power for pumps, lighting, and other farm applications. We will harvest rainwater for the hydroponic greenhouses and sprout production. Our focus will be to remain carbon neutral while being completely organic and non-gmo.

Sprouts, Sunflower sprouts, Bean sprouts, Beet sprouts, Alfalfa sprouts.

The biggest advantage that micro farming has over traditional farming is that a micro-farm sets its market and traditional farming is at the mercy of the market.

The micro farm advantage is that they can determine demand of several varieties of greens, herbs, and sprouts in a very short amount of time. Offering for instance, several varieties of leafy greens at a farmers market over a few weeks period can tell you a lot about demand. Supply can be adjusted in a very short amount of time as well. Teach Others

Traditional vs Micro-Farming

You Can Help

We will teach others sustainable farming practices and instructional videos will help. Organic farmi

We will spread the word about the importance of sustainable organic farming through a series of videos we will produce. The videos we will begin with the initial site preparation all the way to the harvesting operation. We intend to make recommendations as well as things to avoid. We hope that the videos will encourage others to join in the effort to grow useful  herbs and greens that they can use in their lives. We hope to also have a recipe series that we will use what we grow in order to further encourage others to participate in farming on any scale.
